We are deeply grateful to our volunteers, who contribute time and expertise to help us build our product, connect with partners and supporters, and design new content and features.

We’re currently building our advisor circle: a group of champions, sector experts, and resource mobilizers who meet with our leadership team regularly to inform strategy, provide product feedback and insights, and connect us to funding and partnership opportunities.

Frequently asked questions

We are a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization. We exist to provide credible information and guidance that helps people make thoughtful, informed decisions about giving, and that requires independence. Donors deserve clarity about the organizations they choose to support, what work—and impact—they're funding, and what level of uncertainty they're accepting when they give.
The core of the platform will always be free and publicly accessible. Funders can choose to pay for access to more advanced sourcing and analysis tools, and we take a small processing fee on funds distributed directly through the platform. None of these revenue streams affect how organizations are assessed or presented.
Nonprofits and social enterprises in any sector, geography, or growth stage are eligible to join our platform. To do so, they must clear our vetting process. To receive a full Guide to Good profile, organizations must also complete our AI-powered profiling process.
Get a Guide to Good profile by joining our waitlist. Creating a Guide to Good profile is free. Even while we’re pre-launch, we are actively profiling organizations now in preparation for the full product release.
Yes! If you’re a mission-driven organization that raises, or is substantially reliant on, grant or donor funding, you’re welcome to join. You can sign up using the same waitlist.

Testimonials

“The sessions you have done with us have served to enrich us, and given us important knowledge about how to present ourselves. Little things we did not realize counted—we know now that they are the most important things. I would like to tell other nonprofits: you may think you are good at telling your story. You may think you have nailed it. We did. And then we listened to Guide to Good, and realized we are very far from it…It is so difficult to get simplicity right. You have put us on the right trajectory.”

“In fifteen years, we have still never created external materials that worked well enough for us. We get feedback all the time that people don’t know what we do from our website or from our one-pagers. Impact communications is so hard to get right…But this session with you was so easy. It took 45 minutes and we have a profile that is so effective. I can look at the page and think, ‘Yes, that’s exactly who we are.’ And it’s already formatted as a web link I can send around!”
